On this page, I focused on improving the organization of the entry as it was not as cohesive as it could be. First, I changed the heading titled “Appearance and Throat Color Variation” to just be titled “Appearance” as “Significance of Throat Color” was already a sub-heading within this section. Then, I noticed that there was a lot of distinct information under the section titled “Population Structure.” To make it more organized, I added a sub-heading here titled “Effects of Habitat.” I did so because I noticed that there was a lot of information regarding the impact of habitat on the population structure of Urosaurus ornatus, and I thought it could add more clarity. Moreover, I moved the last heading titled “Geographic Range” up after the “Population Structure: Effects of Habitat” section as geographic range and habitat are closely related topics. Lastly, I noticed that “Size” and “Growth” were two separate headings that were not near each other, so I kept “Size” as a heading and made “Growth” a sub-heading under it. For a class assignment, I helped improve the flow and organization of the article by removing unnecessary or repeated words. For example: In the sentence “The species, which was formerly commonly called simply the "tree lizard"…” I removed the word commonly. I also switched the order of the subsections under Appearance so that Hierarchies goes before Multiple Male Genders so that right after the different throat colors are discussed, it can naturally flow into a discussion of how these colors influence hierarchies and produce two types of males, which then can flow into the discussion about possible multiple male genders. In addition, I added in-text links for the words corticosteroid-binding globulin, Homoptera, Formicidae, Hemiptera, Lepidopterous, and Coleoptera so readers can access further information about these subjects for more context or explanation if they are unfamiliar with the terms. Overall, this article was very thorough and well-written. Many topics were included and each section provided detailed information with ample references. I really enjoyed reading this article because it was well organized and the information included was very relevant and informative. However, within the section titled “Appearance and throat color variation,” there was a lot of information that was not properly organized. I decided to add a few various subsections to properly organize this piece. I added “Multiple Male Genders,” “Hierarchies,” and “Speed and Stamina.” These sections make the entire piece more readable because there is more structure and organization.
