Ihmettelyn aiheena ollut näihin päiviin saakka itsellekkin tuo käsite: Taajama Aguilus (talk) 15:37, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

oikeastaan olen sitä mieltä että sekä ruohtin ja suomen kautta, urban areas idis ei sovi. taajama on taajama jne. move pages to new name? Aguilus (talk) 16:32, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

and this is a page where to discuss.Aguilus (talk) 16:35, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

..sorry about my finnish language text, I thought that people who would edit this page are mainly finnish. Aguilus (talk) 05:31, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I prefer the current title. '"Taajama" means nothing to English-only speakers, so the current article name is more helpful. // Nykyinen otsikko sopii paremmin vain englantia puhuville lukijoille. Rutlandbaconsouthamptonshakespeare (talk) 13:24, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Should this article have languagelink to Finnish WP/Taajama? Aguilus (talk) 08:16, 22 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The name should be changed because taajama is translated to locality, or urban settlement. And urban area is a different thing and is defined by the Finnish statistics as an locality with over 15 000 residents. Also it is misleading to call it "urban area" as taajama-called settlements can also be rural.
