– IMO, there is no clear primary topic for "upset". The current page that is there is mostly covered in Underdog. I think the disambiguation page should be located there. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 12:47, 11 January 2018 (UTC) --Relisting. ToThAc (talk) 18:58, 20 January 2018 (UTC)
- So you're suggesting Upset (competition) currently at baseline "Upset" be merged to Underdog? In ictu oculi (talk) 11:43, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
- Basically, yes. The article right now is a glorified dicdef. The disambiguation page can point to Underdog, and to Depression (mood) as alternate and equally valid meanings.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 14:51, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
- I'm neutral for the moment on moving upset (disambiguation) to upset. I don't agree with merging or replacing the current contents of upset with underdog. Although related, they are not synonymous. Not every underdog results in an upset. Both articles are pretty poor at the moment, and I agree the upset article at present is a glorified dictionary definition. There are various themes that could be elaborated on at both, but especially underdog. There are "underdogs" who nobly struggle against the odds and fail (e.g., Grapes of Wrath, and then there are underdogs with a comedic element who do not always succeed but may nonetheless persist in their efforts in a sort of sad sack manner. older ≠ wiser 15:12, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
- Mm, I can't see any reason to delete Upset (competition). It isn't the same as Underdog. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:21, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. This is a case for expansion and sourcing of the existing clear primary topic article. Compare Comeback (sports). bd2412 T 13:56, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
- Weak support/neutral on move; STRONGLY OPPOSE MERGE. I sorta agree that there's no absolute primary topic for "Upset" that it almost always refers to, but I strongly, strongly oppose the merge with Underdog (for reasons listed by others above). Paintspot Infez (talk) 19:58, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
- Support move per nom et al., oppose merger per Bkonrad. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 21:20, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
- Support move per nom et al., oppose merger per Bkonrad and SMcCandlish move current target Upset back to Upset (competition). In ictu oculi (talk) 19:09, 20 January 2018 (UTC)
- Support move. No clear primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:23, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose The current article at Upset is a bit of a disaster (and largely a dictdef), but I don't see what other use makes that not be the primary topic. power~enwiki (π, ν) 01:55, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
- Support move. This is not Wiktionary. Oppose a merger of the article into underdog; keep it at upset (competition) instead. — AjaxSmack 02:04, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
