definition out of a 3rd Reich encyclopedia

I already posted this in the discussion about the Aryans, but I think it is useful information for this discussion, too.

Here's a definition contained in an encyclopedia produced in the Third Reich – the “Volks-Brockhaus” from 1935: it says

Aryans: … members of those races that have lived in Europe for a long time (Nordic, Falish, Dinaric, Mediterranean, Alpine, East Baltic) especially in contrast to the Semitic races. Only Aryans can hold public office and serve in the military and labor service.

I'm not sure about the translation - it originally said: nordisch, fälisch, dinarisch, westisch, ostisch, ostbaltisch in contrast to vorderasiatisch, orientalisch.

So I think "Sieger" is making some good points here. As far I as remember Otto Skorzeny was of Polish descent - and he was a member of "the elite of the elite" - namely the Leibstandarte AH in 1940 when the Nazis thought they would win the war. It does not seem very probable to admit a "untermensch" in this unit.

A bug

"During the Warsaw Uprising, Himmler ordered the destruction of the Warsaw ghetto because according to him it allowed the "living space" of 500,000 subhumans."

Warsaw Ghetto was already destructed in 1943 (Warsaw Ghetto Uprsing), long before Warsaw Uprising (1944).

Destruction of Warsaw Ghetto

Here is what Longerich says about the dsetruction of the Warsaw Ghetto:

The reverter edit summary says " The closest original document I could find the English translated order from Nuremberg Trail. That is NOT an official German order." Aus Sicherheitsgründen ordne ich an, daß das Ghetto Warschau nach der Herausverlagerung des Konzentrationslagers abzureißen ist, wobei alle irgendwie verwertbaren Teile der Häuser und Materialien aller Art vorher zu verwerten sind.
Die Niederlegung des Ghettos und die Unterbringung des Konzentrationslagers ist notwendig, da wir Warschau sonst wohl niemals zur Ruhe bringen werden und das Verbrecherwesen bei Verbleiben des Ghettos nicht ausgerottet werden kann.
Für die Niederlegung des Ghettos ist mir ein Gesamtplan vorzulegen. Auf jeden Fall muß erreicht werden, daß der für 500 000 Untermenschen bisher vorhandene Wohnraum, der für Deutsche niemals geeignet ist, von der Bildfläche verschwindet und die Millionenstadt Warschau, die immer ein gefährlicher Herd der Zersetzung und des Aufstandes ist, verkleinert wird.
