Handball disambiguation help needed

"The John J. Long, S.J., Center and adjoining William J. Byron, S.J., Recreation Complex house the Department of Exercise Science as well as intercollegiate and intramural basketball, wrestling, handball, tennis, racquetball, volleyball and swimming facilities." is good stuff, but links to the "handball" disambiguation page. If someone could let me know what sort of handball is housed there it would be jolly good. Or, better yet, correct the link and save me a job!LeeG 17:37, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

I find the prolix style of this article atypical for Wikipedia. In places it reads more like a book than a concise summary. Also, the huge section on academic honor societies might become a redirect to a specialized article. I hate to make major changes entirely on my own.

I have no opinion. My assessment was approaching a decade ago, and the article has grown substantially since then. A quick look without reading the content would make me feel it is bloated, and the history section could be split off to a History of ... article that is standard for colleges. If some administrator at the University encourages it here, a decent redo of this article will get done. I agree that the history should be moved to a separate article. More elegant, concise sections should be written throughout, leaving much of the bit on academic honor societies to their Wikipedia links and to the school website. Most of what's in the campus buildings and landmarks section needs to be left to the two other University of Scranton Wikipedia articles that cover the topic. The future of the university could be consigned, for the most part, to the history and buildings articles. The notable alumni section might be left to the separate Wikipedia article that exists, with a few alumni mentioned only by name under their field of expertise.
