Merger proposal
[edit]I propose that University of Lovanium be merged into University of Kinshasa. As both articles note, the university started as the University of Lovanium and became University of Kinshasa. Their entries are currently nearly identical. — Preceding unsigned comment added by NhInsideWriter (talk • contribs) 03:29, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
- I disagree. Both articles need expansion. But the University of Lovanium was a colonial institution associated with the Catholic University of Leuven, and the University of Kinshasa is post-colonial and secular. There is some continuity of premises and staff, but they really are separate organizations. Aymatth2 (talk) 17:36, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
