I agree that the articles need to read like an encyclopedia and not an admissions brochure. However, you haven't explained why you've removed some specific information. If you need to cleanup specific sections, you should do so. There is no need to elimate everything except for 2 paragraphs. For example, you've elimated a map of Kansas without providing any reason. I could cite several other examples as well.

- The material removed was (a) blatantly POV ("a proud history of shaping brilliant minds," "Admitted students tend to have fantastic life and work experience before beginning law school." etc.), (b) non-encyclopedic directory or similar information (please see what Wikipedia is not), or (c) unrelated to this article (we don't blithely place a map of a state in an article about an institution in that state). I readded some of the sources but I stand by my edit.

I added a few categories of information today including publications, joint degree programs and centers and programs. I also organized the external references list and added some more external references. Also added an infobox and removed the stub tag. JayhawkBrandon (talk) 03:41, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
I have found different numbers for a few categories in the infobox. I am using numbers from here:http://officialguide.lsac.org/SearchResults/SchoolPage_PDFs/ABA_LawSchoolData/ABA6871.pdf I used those numbers for faculty, bar pass rate, and tuition (in and out of state).JayhawkBrandon (talk) 05:16, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
Edited tuition rates again, with this info as source http://www.law.ku.edu/admissions/tuition.shtmlJayhawkBrandon (talk) 05:28, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
Ijust thought I would bring a conflict to your attention. This article claims KU Law has the largest law library in Kansas with over 370,000 volumes, but the article for the Washburn School of Law claims that it has the largest library in Kansas with over 385,000 volumes. A ranking of 79 in US News is not considered "top tier" or "first tier." Historically, the USN&WR rankings considered 1-50 "top tier" and ranked them individually, then ranked the second (51-100), third (101-150) and fourth (151+) tiers only by groups. They've expanded the number of schools that they ranked individually up to 100 in recent years, and now 143 this year. The USN&WR does not provide a designation of "top tier" in its rankings, except in the sense that they are either ranked or unranked, but the usage of the phrase has very distinct connotations given the historic 1-50 tier. References in this article to "top tier" or "first tier" distort the commonly accepted usage of that term in ranking law schools. Rustram (talk) 22:34, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
