Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Clearly, setting the name of the society as the creator of this page was a mistake. However, debating unions from a number of Russel Group Universities have their own wikipedia pages. A number of people who are coming to speak at the society wonder 'why we don't have a Wikipedia'. This simple article provides basic information about the oldest society in the university, as well as a society that plays a significant role the student lives of many.— Preceding unsigned comment added by DebSoc Exeter (talk • contribs) — DebSoc Exeter (talk • contribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.
- Please sign talk page comments with ~~~~. Second, you have to show the society is significant in the article, and give sources backing up all the facts. Then, you might want to see WP:other stuff. You have to give sources in the article, see WP:no original research. Matty.007 19:42, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
