[edit]The expansion potential for this page, I believe, would be too much for it to be included in the main U of A article. In the future (next few days) I plan on added details about pep rallies, athletics, expanded history section, and other cultural details. Pictures also. The Quad is comparable to The Grove at the University of Mississippi, and it has its own article. Take it, The Grove article has more info on it, but I intend to change that for this specific article. AlaGuy (talk) 05:17, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- While the list structure of the article thus far isn't what we desire, I think that this can be easily expanded into a well sourced and informative article of its own. I've recently completed articles for the University of Alabama Observatory (Gallalee Hall), the Old University of Alabama Observatory (right off of the Quad, Frederick R. Maxwell Hall), and the Gorgas-Manly Historic District, (it includes the Gorgas House, Little Round House, and Woods, Clark, Manly, Garland, Toumey and Barnard Halls). The latter article is for the National Register of Historic Places historic district, but much of what I've written there is about structures surrounding, or very near, The Quad. I hope to do individual articles for the President's Mansion, so it would definitely be relevant to this article. Altairisfartalk 19:07, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
