"University"
[edit]Is "University" simply a name or is this school affiliated with the university? I know of several K-12 schools which are affiliated with or operated by major universities which is why the question comes up. If I'm wondering, no doubt others are as well so it should definitely say so if it is and probably a good idea to say up front that it is not, if it isn't. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.245.71.87 (talk) 16:01, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
Concerning "Campus Cliques"
[edit]This hardly seems encyclopedia worthy. The section is mostly vague classification of social structure, but even with detail it wouldn't do anything to enhance the article. I think it should be altogether removed. XXDucky21Xx 22:18, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- There are many things in this article that are not encyclopedic. Bryanw03 06:05, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- Posting anything that helps you better understand the school is encyclopedic, please reinstate. It will be expanded. monomalvado 8:05, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- That section was 100% original research. Wikipedia does not allow original research. Also, since I doubt any official sources explain where you need to stand in the courtyard, we cannot cite them, and cannot confirm the information in question. Therefore, it should be deleted. Vandal Prone
[edit]This article seems excessively prone to vandalism. We need some sort of lock on this, even though it really isn't that big of an article. XXDucky21Xx 02:49, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
2006 Incident edit
[edit]Torch, why did you remove this? It is consistent with the source. ", over 45 minutes after the event." I won't revert at the moment, but please explain your reasoning. XXDucky21Xx 01:29, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:UHSDrummajor1.jpg
[edit]Image:UHSDrummajor1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

keep school spirit in its place
[edit]There's a certain amount of puffery here: "where the focus is on student achievement," no kidding?! The sentence containing that phrase could at least be properly punctuated. —Tamfang (talk) 21:18, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
Clubs and Organizations
[edit]The "GT Gingerbread Men" sounds a little fishy to me. Can anyone provide any information about this? Also, this brings up a bigger issue of whether there needs to be some sort of standard for the clubs listed in the article. There are dozens at UHS, arbitrarily posting some of them them seems kind of strange. 67.34.181.40 (talk) 15:35, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Listing Each Field Performance (Band)
[edit]Should the list of field performances be trimmed to note the most notable performances instead? Feels like this info falls under WP:CRUFT, as most of said performances seems to only appeal to those familiar with the school's band program. Thissecretperson (talk) 18:23, 14 December 2019 (UTC)
