Comparison between versions
[edit]can we get a comparison between versions in a table or something like that. Thank you.--2001:569:72B8:8400:E1FB:FFD0:8E0E:D693 (talk) 02:53, 14 January 2017 (UTC)
Potential confusion with Unix File System?
[edit]People could potentially come across the UFS filesystem, try searching for 'ufs', find this page, and mistake it to be about the filesystem. (I did.)
Would a "not to be confused with" template of some sort be helpful. If so, what would be the best template, or the best way of phrasing that?
The best I can think of would be something like: "This article is about the flash storage interface specification. For the filesystem with the same initials, see Unix File System".
- This is a real issue. People are confusing the two initialisms and not realizing there are two rather distinct technical things with the initials "UFS" (got a report elsewhere). 207.172.210.101 (talk) 06:38, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
- Done. It sounds like you want the {{Distinguish}} template, so I added it as a WP:Hatnote. --DavidCary (talk) 21:19, 18 August 2020 (UTC)
