Why was the decision anonymously written?

[edit]

Is there a legal reason or what? This needs explaining. 81.159.56.123 03:37, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's a convention used by the Court in certain controversial cases: see Per curiam decision

Change the name and purpose of the page?

[edit]

Wouldn't this be better as a page about the case, with the Canadian supreme courts decision as a sub-header? I saw someone linking to this page when referencing the entire case; there seems to be no other Wikipedia alternative. This is the first thing that shows up when I searched for one of the guys names and I mainly felt confused about how the Supreme court decision has a connection to the case.

For example: I would have no idea where to (meaningfully) add the following information about "Rafay and Burns: 3 innocence projects now believe men innocent" from the Canadian public broadcaster https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/rafay-burns-innocence-projects-1.3414729 177.224.180.236 (talk) 04:19, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
