Court definition of Subject to the jurisdiction

In addition to the otherwise excellent discussion of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision on what constitutes "subject to the jurisdiction", it should be noted that the Court also held that a person born on "foreign public ships" were also not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. The interpretation of this appears to be confined to any non-commercial public vessel being used by a foreign government and also appears to apply to air vessels as well as sea vessels.
