I believe this was a significant case and should not be removed because it is the largest human trafficking case in the United States in recent times. The documentation for its notability can be found in various contemporary news articles, transcripts of TV documentaries done about the case, and obviously in the court documents themselves. The State Department even had a page on it at one point (might still be there, haven't checked in a while). InsultComicDog (talk) 22:33, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This case was the first application of T-Visa legislation introduced the year before, intended to assist stranded sex workers whose deportation would cause severe hardship.
