This page is obviously not neutral. This and the companion articles need to be fixed.

I second this observation, and have added a neutrality tag. Jrt989 (talk) 00:48, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

"When U.S. agents discovered that the German merchant ship Ypiranga was illegally carrying arms to the dictator Huerta, President Wilson ordered troops to the port of Veracruz to stop the ship from docking."

What made it illegal? 143.239.203.119 (talk) 15:52, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
In the United States occupation of Veracruz: "The arms shipment to Mexico, in fact, originated from the Remington Arms company in the U.S. The arms and ammunition were to be shipped via Hamburg, Germany."
Add to that H. L. Wilson's supposed involvement, it may seem a rather possible rupture with legitimacy. --Askedonty (talk) 20:43, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV

[edit]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 01:27, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

First paragraph is temporally confusing

[edit]

In the first paragraph, it's hard to understand what happened during the Mexican Revolution, and what happened long before that time. (I'm not knowledgeable, so will not attempt myself to improve this.) Acwilson9 (talk) 05:05, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
