Merger proposal
Series E bond should probably be merged into this article within the historical section alongside the existing subsection about Series HH (and hopefully expanded with the other series that were previously issued). –Mabeenot (talk) 02:46, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose full merge. The historical material related to World War II specifically would overwhelm this article, and imbalance it compared to coverage of the modern, still extant forms of the bonds. US Savjngs Bonds are not just historical curiosities. That said, the other article probably contains trivial amounts of detail of interest only to numismatics collectors and could use a trim itself. oknazevad (talk) 04:38, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. It is as at least as important as Lend-Lease considering how it enables the U.S. to fund its participation in WW2. If anything, it should be expanded with each of the 8 War Bond drives eventually given their own articles. Vctrbarbieri (talk) 01:46, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. Seems fine where it is now. --Surv1v4l1st ╠Talk║Contribs╣ 20:08, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
