Relationship to Navy JAG

[edit]

"Subordinate to the JAG of the Navy" may not be the best way to put it, but there has to be something in this article about the relationship between Navy and Marine Corps legal. Navy TJAG has Article 6 inspection authority and Article 69 post-trial review authority over the Marine Corps. PubliusFL 18:46, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No - that was very useful. As a Brit, just fresh from watching 'A Few Good Men', but aware of the legendary inter-service rivalries among the US Armed Forces, I was wondering why the USMC was allowing its officers to be interrogated by USN officers. Also, I now understand what 'Division' means in the context of that movie! And why the Marine Corps officers were so extra-disdainful of the Navy lawyers!
