[edit]I wrote the phrase As part of his concessions during his successful bid to become Speaker of the 118th Congress, McCarthy promised members of the Republican Freedom Caucus to create a subcommittee to investigate actions taken by federal agencies and the Biden administration.
I'm quite unhappy with it, but it's the best way I could summarize the relation between the creation of the subcommittee and the concessions made by McCarthy during the election. The word "promised" is particularly wrong in my eyes but couldn't think of a better one. If anyone else has a better way to phrase this please do :) — Ixtal ( T / C ) ⁂ Non nobis solum. 23:09, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
"It has been referred to by the Democratic caucus as the "tin foil hat committee" due to its promotion of conspiracy theories"
[edit]What conspiracy theories are being promoting? All we have here are sources quoting Democrats such as Pete Aguilar, Jim McGovern, and Jerry Nadler saying so, and an article talking about Bernie Sanders and the planned price hike of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, which also touches on the GOP majority in the House a bit but is otherwise irrelevant. If you want to say how this subcommittee promotes conspiracy theories and which ones it's promoting, you need to be more specific and find sources detailing what conspiracy theories the subcommittee is promoting and not taking the words of politicians. If that's the best you can do, I would suggest removing it or editing it to conform with the sources. Unknown0124 (talk) 21:34, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
Why is this is the topic "Joe Biden"?
[edit]This topic has noting to do with Joe Biden, other than a passing connection due to it being during the admin. it would be better to remove this from the topic of Joe Biden. Would want to hear all of your thoughts on this. Pbs123456789 (talk) 12:41, 28 March 2023 (UTC)
