History

Is it correct that the House Committee on Printing was merged into the Committee on House Administration by the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1946 as stated in this article? In Joint Committee on Printing it is said that the jurisdiction of the separate committees of house and senate was moved into the joint committee, which makes somewhat more sense to me.
