Suggested Updates
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. |
I propose the following updates to the page:
- Update the information about the department’s ranking by the Partnership for Public Service because more recent data is available. According to the 2016 report, DOL is now tied at number 6 in the “large agency” category. Source: http://bestplacestowork.org/BPTW/rankings/overall/large
- This statement is out of proportion/inaccurate and outdated and should be removed or modified: “In July 2011, the Department was rocked by the resignation of Ray Jefferson, Assistant Secretary for VETS, in a contracting scandal.”
- Nancy Rooney never held the position of "Acting Deputy Secretary." A specific action is required to grant that title and that action was not taken in this case.
- Declined. No conflict of interest was declared. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 03:41, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
Suggested Update
[edit]PBGC is not a corporation of the Dept of Labor. It is an independent Federal corporation under the oversight of a board composed of the Secretaries of Commerce, Labor, and Treasury. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.68.128.90 (talk) 15:46, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
Al Stewart
[edit]Al Stewart isn't the Secretary anymore (last sentence of the history section). — Preceding unsigned comment added by NathanScott97 (talk • contribs) 22:51, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
