Redirect page to First Mexican Republic instead?
[edit]While the current country is more well-known than any of its predecessors, is rarely known as United Mexican States, even though that is its official name, while people searching for the First Mexican Republic, a past Mexican government, would be more likely to type in United Mexican States. Therefore, if a redirect to the First Mexican Republic isn't restored, maybe this page should at least be made a disambiguation page.2601:2C1:C280:3EE0:A4F2:C3CF:A6EE:52AF (talk) 03:31, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
- "...people searching for the First Mexican Republic, a past Mexican government, would be more likely to type in United Mexican States." I don't see how this is substantiated, and anyway, as the current name of the country, I don't see changing the page to a DAB as justified. Most people typing in the title probably do so because of the name itself as the official name of Mexico and its similarity to "United States of America" rather than anything to do with a historic republic.
