This article says that Latifa Al Maktoum is the daughter of Sheikh Mohamed Al Maktoum. Given that her full name is Latifa bint Ahmed Al Maktoum (i.e., daughter of Ahmed), that seems doubtful. She is more likely to be the daughter of shooter Ahmed Al Maktoum. Aridd (talk) 22:45, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Background
  • It has never participated in a Winter Olympic Games. — Perhaps "As of 2020, it has never..."
  • Had the UAE ever won a medal at the Olympics before 2008? Have they since?
  • All the athletes were promised monetary awards of $272,000 should they have won a gold medal. — Anything for silver/bronze?
