I recommend to have a look at the English translations of the union's changing names. The original name would be better translated as Federation (or Association) of Commerce-, Transport- and Food-Workers. The later name is literally translated from its German original, but it seems to me (as a non-native speaker) that this sounds a bit odd in English. Official English translations of the name might be available in older IUF and ITF-documents Az74 (talk) 11:54, 13 August 2021 (UTC).[reply]
