Two problems
- The oldest club in North America is the Order of Good Cheer founded by Samuel De Champlain in the 1620s.
- The name Union Club was used by plently of other gentlemen's clubs including one in London, UK, their fromer headquaters is now Canada House.

- I can't help with your first point, but you're right about your second point; it seems there was one in California formed in the mid-19thC and I bet there are dozens around the world. Craigy (talk) 08:29, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
