"American Underworld" or "Underworld U.S.A."?

Which of these two "informal" titles is correct? Where are the sources that indicate one or the other is used by Ellroy? The subsection in the main Ellroy article used both titles, but this article uses the "American" title. We need to straighten this out. ---RepublicanJacobite_{The'FortyFive'} 02:59, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
