Thanks to contributors, and notice of nomination at WP:DYK

Many thanks to those who have taken an interest in this article, which I created just a few days ago. Your contributions are appreciated, and the photos that have been added also give the article good visual impact. I have nominated this article at the 'Did you know...' page (WP:DYK) for possible inclusion on the Main page (WP:Main page). The process is handled by those who maintain the feature and no support action is needed. Again, many thanks to those helping to improve the article! Jusdafax 19:17, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Just a few quick comments - I've suggested some alt hooks at DYK. One thing I'm certain is that $2.5m was not the price - it would have been in sterling. this article may be the source, as it mentions Fossway being open to a bid of £1.5m. There's also some other bits and bobs in there, mentioning Bram Stoker coming for lunch, and JM Barrie visiting. It would also be nice to mention some of the specific stories written there - the Telegraph ref mentions Baskervilles and implies The Adventure of the Empty House. I must admit to being puzzled as to how to proceed about the price of the property. In the meantime I have expanded the article based on two books on Doyle. The article you link to is another good source, so I will look at another round of enhancement. Thanks! Jusdafax 11:17, 28 August 2010 (UTC) UPDATE: I went with the £1.5m figure, and have done additional work. Jusdafax 08:34, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
Undershaw appears to be up for sale again, so if anyone has information, please post it here, thanks. Jusdafax 02:17, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
Over a year later, I see no additional notices in the press or elsewhere. Jusdafax 23:32, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
