Cover Image
[edit]I'm not sure the best way to upload the cover image. a copy can be found here if someone else wants to tackle it Corhen (talk) 15:53, 19 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Corhen: Hi. You can use Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard to upload the book's cover. For Step 3, choose the "This is a copyrighted, non-free work, but I believe it is Fair Use" option. Bennv3771 (talk) 04:49, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Bennv3771: Thanks, that you are right. Fair Use actually has a section devoted to covers of items (novels, magazines, albums, ect!)Corhen (talk) 05:19, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]Single review from ISFDb added. This plus beststeller status still does not make this notable, but perhaps others can find something else to help? Ping User:Cunard, User:Daranios. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 12:58, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
Hi Piotrus (talk · contribs). Here are some sources about the book Uncompromising Honor:
- Lardas, Mark (2018-10-30). "'Uncompromising Honor' regains focus of early books". The Daily News. Archived from the original on 2023-06-03. Retrieved 2023-06-03.
The review notes: "The book (thankfully) lacks the ever-larger and ever-bloodier final battle of earlier books, yet contains the stuff to delights Weber fans. There's the battle-against-great odds (framed plausibly). Old enemies become new allies, a satisfactory end to the Solarian War occurs, and clues left for the series' next book. The book regains the focus of the series' early books, and is a ripping good space opera to those who have not previously encountered the series."
- Vicha, Don (2018-09-01). "Uncompromising Honor". Booklist. Vol. 115, no. 1. p. 61. Archived from the original on 2023-06-03. Retrieved 2023-06-03 – via Gale.
The review notes: "It all comes to a head with all the hard-and software details and tactical proficiency that Weber delivers like no one else, along with a large cast of well-developed, believable characters, giving each clash of fleets emotional weight."
- "Uncompromising Honor". Publishers Weekly. Vol. 265, no. 34. 2018-08-20. p. 74. Archived from the original on 2023-06-03. Retrieved 2023-06-03.
The review notes: "This juggernaut of military science fiction moves slowly but inexorably as the Star Kingdom's Grand Fleet, commanded by series protagonist Honor Harrington, faces the space navy of the Solarian League as well as the shadowy cabal of the Mesan Alignment. The 14th novel in Weber's bestselling series (not counting spin-offs) offers no summary to orient readers."
- Haley, Carolyn (2018-10-02). "Uncompromising Honor (Honor Harrington)". New York Journal of Books. Archived from the original on 2023-06-03. Retrieved 2023-06-03.
The review notes: "The imbalance makes sense in the “Honorverse” context but is dissatisfying for people reading because they love Honor. They will have to plow through long runs of pages that have nothing to do with her to get their fix. She comes into focus and dominates the action in the final section, and lives up to all we expect of her, so the conclusion is satisfying."
- Sakers, Don (January–February 2019). "Uncompromising Honor". Analog Science Fiction and Fact.
The review is listed here in the Internet Speculative Fiction Database.

- @Cunard Thank you, that looks good. For now I changed notability template to sources exist, sooner or later someone will, hopefully, incorporate those sources into the article (maybe I'll do it if nobody beats me to it). Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:09, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
