The entry for The Countryman and the Cinematograph quotes a source calling it 'one of the earliest known examples of a film within a film', which seems to imply that this 'almost identical remake' of it couldn't have been the first. --86.18.157.57 (talk) 19:34, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
