Cook United

[edit]

I'm wondering if this store would be better treated as part of a larger article on Cook United. Cook was a major player in retail in Cleveland and the Midwest: discount stores, department stores and grocery stores. It bought Uncle Bill's and also the Pick-N-Pay Supermarkets chain and others.

It went bankrupt first in 1984 and then again to liquidate in 1987.
