Platform assignments

Unlike most island-platform stations in NSW, trains stop here with the platform on their left. This is because the station is a side platform to the Unanderra Moss Vale line, with South Coast Line trains going around the back on what operates like a siding. You can see how it works on page 54 of the ASA's track diagrams. I'm struggling to explain this in lay terms however. Any ideas? Mqst north (talk) 08:27, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
