Date of post Soviet karbovanets
[edit]It says January 10, 1991, but the central bank says 1992 [1]. banknoteworld.com uses Pick catalog data which indicates 1991 alone [2]. If it were printed with 1991 but actually issued in 1992, the file name would be ... 1991(1992). --ChoChoPK (球球PK) (talk | contrib) 12:27, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
- It should be January 10, 1992. My mistake. Thanks for pointing this out. There is a nice article on the history of hryvnya in Ukrainain wiki, which needs to be incorporated further: uk:Історія української гривні. --KPbIC 07:33, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, this site www.globalfinancialdata.com has completely diffrent date on their file. Any reasons why are there such misinterpretations?Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 19:14, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Historical section
[edit]To improve the readability, I have edited rather strenuously. Aside from adding a "the" in front of Ukraine (which seems to be a common thread in English), I hope to have avoided any misstatements. Please feel free to correct, but please don't revert wholesale. Overuse of run-ons and indistinct prepositions have been greatly reduced! (Dfoofnik, not logged in on this occasion) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.230.240.11 (talk) 02:57, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Soviet Rouble
[edit]The article says:
On June 1, 1919, the Soviet Ukraine united with the Soviet governments of Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Belorus in a common revolutionary front, and only one monetary unit was legitimized - the rouble of the USSR.
However, the USSR itself was established in 1922, together with the USSR Soviet rouble. It might have been the RSFSR rouble the article is mentioning - or it might be altogether wrong. rado (talk) 12:44, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
"Hubb'andmen"
[edit]I tried looking for this word because someone has asked for it to be spellchecked, but I couldn't find anything for it, though Google corrected it to 'Husbandman', I don't think it's correct within the context of the sentence, can anyone help and if it isn't an actual word what should we do with that piece of info? I also tried looking for the Congress of Free Hubb'andmen but I couldn't find anything for that either. Glorianesserirl (talk) 17:52, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
