I will review this article. Thank you. — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 14:27, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
- Comments
- "It was produced by Sanjay Singh, Anurag Kashyap and Ronnie Screwvala as Anurag Kashyap Films and UTV Spotboy." — Can be rephrased as "It was produced by Sanjay Singh, Anurag Kashyap and Ronnie Screwvala under their production companies Anurag Kashyap Films and UTV Spotboy respectively."
- "He co-wrote Kashyap's Dev.D (2009), and Kashyap produced and co-wrote Udaan" — Add a full-stop after the film's (Udaan) name.
- Wikilink "standing ovation" just for clarity's sake even though most might know what it means.
- "Rohan returns home to Jamshedpur, his stern, abusive, alcoholic father, and his six-year-old half-brother Arjun (about whom Rohan had not known)." — Can be rephrased as "Rohan returns home to Jamshedpur, where his stern and abusive alcoholic father, and his six-year-old half-brother Arjun (about whom Rohan had not known) live."
- Wikilink auto-rickshaw.
- "Motwane called the film's scripting its "most important stage"." — Please elaborate on this. Maybe you can say that because of the difficulties of finding a producer and Kashyap's own release problems, the scripting was quite important.
- "Kashyap told Motwane in 2003, after reading the script, that he would solely produce the film." — Elaborate a little bit on how Ronnie and Sanjay got involved.
- "It was filmed for 39 days (out of a 42-day shooting schedule) in a HUDCO bungalow and the Circuit House area; for three days, it was filmed in Shimla for three days." — A little confusing here. Is it three days for each location or entirely for three days for all the locations mentioned here? Clarify and tweak the sentence please.
- "He called it a "simple straightforward film"." — Who? Motwane? If so, why and in what way? Please elaborate.
- "Ronit Roy, Aayan Boradia, Ram Kapoor, Manjot Singh and Anand Tiwari" — Wikilink the actor's names here.
- "Udaan was acclaimed by critics." — What factors did the critics cite as reasons the film clicked? Performance, direction, story, screenplay, technical aspects, music? Elaborate a bit on this.
- Wikilink Mayank Shekhar
- A lot of areas begin with "called the film", "call" and "calling". Try to write what the critics emphasise in your own words (give your interpretation of it). Start by singling out what they say about the film in general for the first paragraph, then about the performances in the second and the technical aspects in the third paragraph to ensure smooth flow of reading for the readers (May have to reinvent the entire section a bit).
- Wikilink all the references (magazine, website, newspapers) within the first instance of them being mentioned.
That's about it from me. Resolve these comments, Yashthepunisher and the article will be promoted. — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 10:07, 3 May 2019 (UTC)
