In Classical Latin, the word scans as ˈŭbīquēˈ - therefore, the accent is properly placed over the long ˈiˈ of the penult (i.e., oo-BIK-we). Whoever wrote the reference to which this page linked was mistaken. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.247.40.69 (talk) 13:56, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
