Jiménez or Jimenez?
[edit]Why is Jiménez spelled with the accent mark? His uniform doesn't use the "é", nor does MLB.com. What do you think? KoopaTroop (talk) 19:18, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
I'll explain this the best I can. Jiménez has the accent mark. That is the proper way to spell the name. However, MLB Uniforms omit these marks. Don't as me why, but they just do. you see it with the other hispanic players: Ramon Ramirez, Aramis Ramírez, amongst others. It's an odd quirk of MLB's jersey conventions. however Wikipedia does seem to be inconsistent - Manny Ramirez for instance, to my knowledge, has an accented "i" in "Ramirez" IDK best I can say is It's Jiménez legally but Jimenez on his uniform. --Boston Burkenation (talk) 02:20, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

Change Jimenez' current team to the Cleveland Indians. He was traded on July 30th, 2011, the day before the MLB trade deadline.
