Lets try running UV inks and problems associated withi it.

While running UV inks on a Hybrid press we are incountering ink drying on our printing plates. This happens on all units and the only unit with a UV lamp is unit #6 and the extension.

What is our problem?

I feel it could be a reaction from out process water and the ink.

Wiki doesn't answer these types of questions. See Yahoo! Answers or Ask.com. You may be correct on the cause though.

A real challenge most people find with UV, Flood Aqueous and Film Lam coatings is that these types of items are suddenly made non-recyclable by coating them. Do we want to work this into the article somehow? --Darkprincealain 14:27, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Concrete, Vinyl, Granite, Marble, etc.

[edit]

There are a LOT of coatings for site applied UV coming out for surfaces like concrete, vinyl, granite, marble, and so on. This article needs to be expanded, drastically. 216.6.128.244 (talk) 04:33, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
