Dash Drone Helicopters with torpedoes

I was stationed on the USS Van Voorhis end of 1966 to late 1968. There was a hanger and flight deck for a pair of Dash Drone Helicopters that carried torpedoes. The gun on the rear deck wasn't there as I recall. We has a lieutenant JG Navy Pilot who piloted the drones from the ship. The objective was to fly to a sub sighting and drop the torpedoes to sink the sub. 75.165.112.132 (talk) 00:55, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
