Removal of death incident

This edit removed mention of an incident in which a crewmember died. I don't believe that the death of a ship's crewmember in peacetime is a "minor" incident. The ship's captain actually went to a mast over the incident and his career is proably over. I think this incident should be mentioned in the article. Cla68 (talk) 00:57, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Given the short amount of time the San Antonio has served, I think this accident is worth a mention. For a ship with a 20+ year career, a similar event would be non-notable for that ship. -Fnlayson (talk) 16:48, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

No Radars, EW, etc.?

Why are no RADARs, processors, or electronic warfare listed for these LPD-17 ships? It appears to be part of the 'template' generally used for ship characteristics. Syrian Deployment

According to CNN, the USS San Antonio is now among several US Navy warships presently stationed off the coast of Syria [1] as part of the developing US response to the use of chemical weapons by the Assad regime.
