Official site?

[edit]

The official site www.saipan.navy.mil has given "host not found" from my location for several months. Does it work from the US?

Missing Time on this history of the 'Pan

[edit]

I served onboard the USS Saipan from February '87 to Nov '88, and I swear to God that we were in dry dock from approx Oct 87 to at least Nov '88 for a major overhaul/refitting.

Does anyone out there know why this fact is never mentioned anywhere? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jinian (talkcontribs) 13:19, 28 September 2005

What about the SNFL exercise conducted over the fall of 2004? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.154.102.105 (talkcontribs) 14:36, 5 June 2006

Decommissioning

The Saipan was decommissioned April 25 2007, wasn't it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.87.162.132 (talk) 15:26, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
