...General MacArthur’s proud signal that "the Navy and Marines have never shown more brightly than this morning."
I know this spelling is out there in multiple places, including on a stone monument somewhere... but shouldn't it be "shone more brightly"? Is there an authoritative source for this quote? Glibdud (talk) 14:24, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
