Upgraded page
[edit]Added latest version of ship infobox and added photo of ship plus other data in the infobox. Replaced the text with a longer, more comprehensive text, based on two DANFS articles, as the page had its text based on only one short DANFS article. Added additional photo of the ship post-service. Added new first paragraph describing overall career of the ship. Added 'see also', cat, ref, etc., plus edits, fixes, etc.Wikited (talk) 01:28, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Moved page
[edit]Moved page from 1861 title to 1854 title in keeping with Wiki standard of using the ship's launch year (and not the commission year) as part of title.````
- The move causes a distinct error. In 1854 she was not the USS Quaker City as the US Navy woould not employ her for another seven years. The article should be either Quaker City (1854 ship), or USS Quaker City (1861). I prefer the first, with a redirect from the second. I will implement in 48 hours if no objections.
