History
[edit]The book "The Sand Pebbles" references this ship as having a negative history with the United States Navy. The phrase used was "Better to have a sister in a whore house than a brother on the Philadelphia." Is there any info as to why? 138.163.106.71 (talk) 17:29, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
