Modern ship
[edit]I believe the photo of the current Spanish fishery assistance vessel is completely misguided, because bow and stern are completely different (the Monadnock has no transom), the Spanish vessel is clearly brand-new, the Monadnock was apparently sunk in 1966 [1], the Esperanza del Mar was built in 2001 [2] and gives regular position updates [3]. I will change the article in a few days if no one objects. Pietrow ☏ 17:07, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
Fixed it. The ex USS Monadnock was first renamed Monte Esperanza when sold to Spain, and later renamed Esperanza del Mar. The pictured Vessel was the 2001 purpose-build Esperanza del Mar, comissioned when ex USS Monadnock had already been sunken. Also did a new entry about the 2001 ship Esperanza Del Mar, but it is total stub. Anathemius (talk) 10:59, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
