please check Savarona
[edit]Here it says :
- ".. Savarona in 1928 by Pusey & Jones Corp., Wilmington, Delaware, for Mrs. Thomas S. Cadwallader of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While Mrs. Cadwallader operated her, Savarona was said to be the largest and most luxurious yacht in the world. " and then it became an USS.
- But Savarona says that the ship was built for Ms Cadwallader ... and then owned by the great Turkish leader!!!
I can't tell and have no information. Please check it can't be the same luxurious ship ??? -- DLL .. T 13:13, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- They are not the same ship—their launch dates are two years apart, they have different builders, and the Jamestown was built in Delaware, while the MV Savarona was built in Germany. Just a case of sharing the same name. Maralia (talk) 14:19, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
