[edit]This submarine was not decommissioned in 2000. I served onboard it from 2002-2004. The conversion to support mini-submarine operation was completed in 2003. -- 15:01, 9 December 2010 161.154.235.100
I'm not sure what submarine the above poster was on, but I served aboard the James K Polk from 1969 to 1973 and, more importantly, attended the decommissioning ceremony in 1999 and saw the ship at PSNS in 2000.
