Sinking
[edit]She was sunk by IJN Subchaser 102 - the converted ex USS Stewart (DD-224) (captured in damaged condition at Soerabaja in 1942.)
Evidence indicates that you are correct - but the ship was Patrol Boat No. 102 (formerly the USS Stewart).
- I see conflicting accounts of this event, some claiming she was sunk by Stewart and others by a Thai vessel. Do we have a reliable source for this? Drutt (talk) 02:44, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- Antony Preston's 1977 publication "Destroyers" (ISBN 0-600-32955-0) credits the sinking of the Harder to a thai destroyer Phra Ruang, which was an ex British destroyer built as the HMS Radiant in 1916 sold to Thailand in 1920. she was under Japanese control at the time —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.238.122.224 (talk) 19:20, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
