Chincha Islands War

[edit]

Along the way a ref had been added stating that the Catawba had been purchased by Peru for the Chincha Islands War. It seems that ref either must be wrong or have been cited poorly. The Chincha Islands War was from 1864 to 1866. The Catawba wasn't on the market until 1868. I removed the sentence for now. If the original article statement was somehow accurate please clarify it and feel free to put it back in. Zurel Darrillian (talk) 17:22, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tks, clean forgot I had this one, was obviously confusing it with another ship article I had down for review that I just completed... ;-) Should get to it later today... Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 02:27, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No rush.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 03:54, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Toolbox check -- no dab or external link issues.

Prose -- completed my usual copyedit, let me know if any probs.

Structure/coverage/referencing -- all seem fine.

Supporting materials -- image apparently wants a US public domain tag; I shouldn't think there's an issue with it, however, so I just see this as a matter of tidying rather than anything to delay passing as GA. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 14:31, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
