Because this is an article about an American ship, I think the dates should be notated as [month] [dd], [yyyy]. For example, 23 September 1918 would become September 23, 1918, and I will change all these instances to such. Blippy1998 (talk) 20:14, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
