I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 01:36, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
- Getting lazy with the single cite for the entire infobox, aren't you?
- I think that's actually a legacy of the old version of the article. Come to think of it, I don't think I ever redid the infobox.
- It passes muster, but does need some work to fully bring it up to standard. Check over your other BB noms for all of this stuff and let me know when I should look at the articles as I don't want to spend time pointing stuff out twice or more.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 19:25, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
- Those should all be fine - I don't think anything from this article was copied from here to those articles. And I cleaned up the infobox a bit

- You've got a valid link for the main armament in the infobox, why not in the main body?
- I figured it'd be better to link to the redlink of where the gun article should actually be, rather than the later Mark 8, since somebody (probably you, no doubt) will eventually create the Mark 7 article.
- I appreciate your faith in me ;-) and I may well get around to it eventually, but I'd really prefer not to have a blue link to the wrong gun. The Mk 8 was used on the Alaskas and that's not relevant at all to this 12-inch/50.

- It's better to link caliber than to deal with it in a note, IMO, something like 50-caliber 12-inch Mk 7 gun would suffice. Besides, the USN doesn't put a space between gun size and its caliber.
- Fixed the spacing issue, but I don't really like to write it like that, since it might give the reader the (very wrong) impression that we're talking about .50 caliber.
- OK, but be sure to put your note just after first use in the gun names in both infobox and main body.
- Done.

- Tell the reader that Cradock was British. The less than six months to live bit is optional.
- Clarified.
- Link overhaul via wiktionary
- Added - good call.
- Was Delaware the entirety of the 6th Battle Squadron? Since you explain it better later, probably best to drop this reference.
- I figured it was worth noting which ship Arkansas was sent to replace.
- That part's fine; the wording was just confusing about the battle squadron.
- I gotcha now, "as" -> "in"

- Link Scapa Flow, main battery, battalion
- Added.
- typo: escorted in into Scapa Flow
- Should have read "it" instead of "in".
- Who's them? and took them to the exposition, and returned them to Annapolis
- Fixed.
- You might find some additional info on her participation in fleet exercises in this [1]
- I'll look through it and add what I can later today.
- Alright, I got around to adding in the details from that book.

- I don't think many readers are going to know what stood out of means
- -> "departed"
- Standardize your refs; some have year of publication and others don't
- Should be fixed.
- Need place of publication for Breyer.
- Added.
- Lots of duplicate links.
- Part of the problem of taking so long to finish the article, no doubt. I've cleaned up as many as I could find, if there are more, let me know.
- No DABs.
- Pics are appropriately licensed.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 23:28, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for reviewing the article, Sturm. Parsecboy (talk) 19:06, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
- Everything is good except for the duplicate links. Use this script to catch them. Ian suggested it to me and its pretty damn handy.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 02:09, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
- That's a handy tool, thanks for pointing me to it. Parsecboy (talk) 14:11, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
