Name confusion
[edit]Throughout the article, the ship is referred to interchangeably as Coos Bay and Anacapa. At first, I believed this to be an error, but eventually decided that the ship was built as Coos Bay and renamed Anacapa when it was commisioned in the Navy as a Q-ship. I think the article should clarify this, and then use consistent naming to minimise confusion, especially as there is another ship USS Coos Bay (AVP-25). --Romney yw (talk) 02:09, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- I made one minor change that might help near the end, but I think the paragraph on Construction is clear enough. I tried to use Anacapa when describing her military career and Coos Bay when describing her civilian career because those were the names she operated under. Please feel free to make other edits if you think it can be improved. Thanks. --Newell Post (talk) 06:55, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
