The article contains important historical information concerning the rescue by the USS APc-25 of the 35 survivors of the sunken USS John Penn (APA-23) on August 13, 1943. The article also contains important historical information regarding previously undocumented transport missions by United States Navy APc-1 class coastal transport vessels in the Southern Solomon Islands in 1943, while facing sustained enemy aircraft attacks. I think this boat moved recently

Was just here and looked all up and down from the coast along Miller's Landing camp ground, didn't see anything resembling this boat. Where the coordinates on the article point there is an empty dock that looks like it would be the right size. - Scarpy (talk) 21:21, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
